The Alexandria Historical & Genealogical Library is open with restrictions according to the Phase III of Reopening Louisiana from the Louisiana Department of Health - The AHGL is operated by volunteers, and it is advised you should contact the AHGL and schedule an appointment.

Visitors will be required to wear a mask while in the building.

The new 2022 Calendars are available to purchase! If you're interested in picking up your copy, contact AHGL at 318-487-8556. Calendars are $10.00 each. If you prefer to have your calendar mailed, it is $10.00 plus $2.00 postage and handling.
